Our Code of Ethics

The Sisterhood of the Diva Dames is a women’s motorcycle society founded on the principles of freedom, empowerment, camaraderie, and faith in God. This Code of Ethics outlines a set of guiding values that provides a common-sense framework for our community of riders. 

We honor God as the ultimate guide on our journeys, seeking His wisdom and protection. Our sisterhood is built on mutual support, shared passion for the open road, and a celebration of our collective spirit.

We strive to empower both current and aspiring women motorcyclists by encouraging the joy of riding, fostering a supportive community, and inspiring positive change. United by our love for the open road, the bonds of sisterhood, and our shared faith in God, we stand together to make a difference.

 Faith: We recognize the importance of faith in God as our foundation, seeking His guidance, protection, and strength in all we do as riders and as a sisterhood.

• Freedom: We honor the freedom that motorcycling brings—freedom of the road, self-expression, and authenticity. Each member’s journey is respected.

• Empowerment: We encourage women to ride with confidence, sharing knowledge, skills, and experiences to help one another grow as riders and individuals.

• Sisterhood: Our community bridges differences and backgrounds, founded on mutual respect, unwavering support, and the celebration of each member’s achievements and journey.

• Integrity: Honesty and authenticity guide our actions, both within our group and in the broader community.

• Inclusivity: We welcome women from all backgrounds, experiences, and motorcycle preferences. Our diversity strengthens us.

• Support & Encouragement: We celebrate each other’s successes, offer help and mentorship willingly, and cultivate a safe space for all women to explore motorcycling.

• Conflict Resolution: Disagreements are approached directly and respectfully, with open minds and kind words. Harmony is valued above all.
• Respect for Privacy: Confidentiality is paramount. Permission is always obtained before sharing someone’s story or image, and each sister’s privacy preferences are honored.

• Alcohol and Drugs: We do not encourage drinking and maintain a zero-tolerance policy for illegal drugs during all Sisterhood of the Diva Dames events and rides. We expect every member to act responsibly, prioritizing our own safety and well-being, as well as the safety and well-being of others, at all times.

•  Safety Consciousness: We prioritize safety in all scenarios, encourage lifelong learning, and advocate for training, licensing, and riding sober.

• Responsible Riding: We follow traffic laws, maintain our motorcycles, dress in proper protective gear, and respect each sister’s personal safety choices.

• Group Riding Philosophy: No Sister is left behind. We respect different riding styles, communicate clearly, and plan rides to accommodate everyone’s abilities and comfort.

• Positive Representation: We embody pride and dignity, challenge stereotypes, and interact respectfully with other organizations and the public.

• Giving Back: Our collective strength supports causes we believe in, including charity events, community service, and mentoring new riders.

• Charity Rides: Members are encouraged to participate in events or rides that give back to the community, combining their passion for riding with a sense of purpose. However, neither the group nor any of its members may organize a benefit or raise funds for charity under the name "Sisterhood of the Diva Dames." We are not a 501(c)(3) organization, and no monetary funds or gifts are to be collected or distributed in the name of the “Sisterhood of the Diva Dames”. Members are always welcome to join charity rides while proudly wearing their Sisterhood of the Diva Dames merchandise.

• Environmental Stewardship: We are committed to respecting the environments we ride through, leaving no trace, and responsibly enjoying natural spaces.

• Respectful Discourse: Communication is always respectful, even in the midst of disagreement. We consider the impact of our words on one another and the organization.

• Privacy Considerations: We obtain consent before sharing images or stories and protect the integrity of private discussions and events.

• Mutual Respect: Our interactions with other clubs and riders are respectful, honoring motorcycling traditions and maintaining our unique identity.

• Neutrality: We remain neutral in conflicts between other groups, focusing on our mission and building community bridges.

This Code of Ethics is not a set of rigid rules, but a reflection of our shared vision and values as the Sisterhood of the Diva Dames. Each member authentically upholds these principles, fostering a supportive and vibrant community of women riders.

Respect for Members and Others: Members must show respect to fellow members, other riders, and the public. We uphold a standard of no drama, gossip, lies, and—most importantly—no bullying. We act with dignity and integrity at all times.

Fighting or any form of violence among members is strictly prohibited.

Stealing from members or damaging property is strictly prohibited.

Alcohol and Drugs: We do not encourage drinking and maintain a zero-tolerance policy for illegal drugs during all Sisterhood of the Diva Dames events and rides. We expect every member to act responsibly, prioritizing their own safety and well-being, as well as that of others.

Membership may be terminated if any of our Code of Ethics standards are not maintained.

We have no formal officers; all members have an equal voice and vote on decisions together as a collective.

We, the Diva Dames, pledge our commitment to each other and our values before God.

With God's grace, we unite as sisters, supporting each other's growth and empowerment.

With God's guidance, we uplift each other, celebrate our achievements, and honor our diversity.

We speak with kindness, act honestly, and seek God's wisdom.

We are fierce, bold, and unapologetic.

Together, with God's love, we create a community where every voice is valued and every dream nurtured.
